Our Brand

Safe Plays is an entity backed by the name, with many concepts, one being apparel. The “Safe Play” movement expresses the effort for greater well-being. The dollar sign, $, represents the constraints of currency that were placed on making certain decisions we make. “Safe” means not being exposed to danger or risk, with the understanding that life, risk, and danger will always be a part of our daily encounters. Within our daily routine, we make choices for the present that, in faith, benefit our future. “Plays” is the activity of enjoyment that we choose to engage in. Inside the minority communities, Safe Plays is no longer a part of the developing generations neither the supporting generations ahead of them. The reason is that violence and poverty is the stereotypical belief put on African Americans and other minority descents, leading to racial profiling and socioeconomic conflicts.
